This is a one-year programme with two semesters. The programme produces competent graduates able to apply thermodynamics principles, crystallization techniques and supervisory skills in steam generation, sugar processing, producing massecuites and monitoring operations performance in cane sugar production. The programme equips graduates with skills and knowledge in a broad range
of work activities most of which are non-routine.
